Follow Friday (1)

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee.

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

Most of the things I had to read for school fall into this category, because now if I don't like a book, I don't finish it. So the top three books I remember disliking the most but having to finish (usually because there was test or essay looming over my head) are "The Crucible," "Animal Farm," and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

  2. Hopping through. New follower! I enjoyed Animal Farm when I read it years ago, but it didn't stick with me like Watership Down, which is similar and in my opinion, better.

  3. Hi, Karen! :) Thanks so much for stopping by -- I'm following you back for sure!

I agree one-hundred percent! Most of the books I ended up disliking a lot were novels I had to read for school. For The Hobbit, I had to watch that weird cartoon movie too! LOL! x)

Hope you have an awesome weekend! :)

  4. New follower hopping through! I tend to like classics, so required reading isn't a problem for me. I enjoyed The Crucible, but I haven't read the last two you listed.

    Have a good weekend! :)

  5. I feel the same way. I HATED the books they made us read in school, and just the fact that we had required reading made me not want to read anything for awhile. I really want to follow your blog, but Blogger must be having some issues right now because the follower box isn't showing up...boo! I'll make sure I check back in later and try to follow you then. For now I made sure to follow you on Twitter at least!
