My favorite read in September was "Uncommon Criminals," by Ally Carter (read my review here). It was so ridiculously fun to read. I loved the characters and the hijinks and the witty dialog . . . I loved everything about it, really. It's the sequel to "Heist Society," which was my Best of the Bunch pick for last month. I'm not big on sequels, so I was worried "Uncommon Criminals" wouldn't live up to "Heist Society," but it totally did. And, even better, you don't have to have read "Heist Society" for this one to make sense--it's an awesome adventure all on its own. I finally started Heist Society yesterday :) So I'm sure I'll get around to this one very quickly
ReplyDeleteI'm desperate to get my hands on a copy of Heist Society, this looks like such a fun series, and I really like her other books, The Gallagher Girls. I will definitely have to check this out!

ReplyDeleteAnother amazing choice! Heist Society has been on my wishlist since it was your BOTB in August but I'm definitely going to make it an October read now. I'm so glad the sequel is as good as the first.
